This website is operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hosting, management of the domain/DNS, protection and faster delivery). When you visit the website, requests are routed via Cloudflare servers and technically necessary data are processed, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL and browser and operating system information. These data are required to provide the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where data are transferred to the USA, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), insofar as the provider is certified under it, and additionally on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
The fonts “Inter” and “Space Grotesk” used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google or any other font provider is established when you visit the website.
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the data you enter (e.g. name, e-mail address, company, message) are processed to handle your enquiry. To transmit the form we use the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which receives the form data and forwards it to us by e-mail.
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry. Incoming e-mails to our domain are delivered to our mailbox via an e-mail forwarding service (ImprovMX).
The legal basis is the implementation of pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data are deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, BAO) apply. For transfers to the USA, the information in section 2 applies.
As part of our trainings we provide interactive exercises (e.g. live polls). For this purpose a randomly generated identifier is stored in your browser so that each vote is counted only once. Voting is anonymous; no name, e-mail address or other personal details are requested. The voting results are stored with Cloudflare and reset after the respective training session. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in conducting interactive trainings (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website uses no cookies and no analytics, tracking or marketing tools. Therefore no cookie banner is displayed.
Only in the interactive training exercises (section 5) is technically necessary information stored in your browser's local storage (local storage or session storage), such as a random participant identifier or the unlock status of an exercise. This storage is strictly necessary for the function you have requested (§ 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, TKG). You can delete these data at any time via your browser settings.
Our website contains links to external services (e.g. LinkedIn). Data are only transferred to these providers when you click the respective link. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on those pages.
